With hour and minute hands, the central dial shows the local time and is framed by two annular discs that are both decorative and functional: The outer disc bears 24 place names with the 24 time zones, while the movable inner disc has a 24-hour scale with black numerals to indicate hours throughout the night and blue numerals to indicate hours throughout the day.

The 24-hour disc turns anti-clockwise. Setting the local time by simply turning the hands also moves this disc accordingly. The home time is set by moving the city ring individually to the 12 o’clock position. The times in the other 23 time zones always remain visible at a glance thanks to the numerals on the 24-hour disc below the relevant place name. The Classica W60 M’s elegant black varnish case with delicate metal inlays houses the calibre 1325 movement; developed exclusively for this ensemble, this complex mechanism is admirably easy and intuitive to operate.
