Following on from its smaller sister, the Classica S 100, this clock is yet another work of art from Erwin Sattler. Classic and elegant in appearance but ultramodern inside, the highly precise Classica S 130 M merges tradition with modern innovation.
One pendulum swing every second. This quiet rhythmic beat infuses the room with a harmonious ambience, while on the dial, the “small second” is indicated in a separate subsidiary dial.
Its subtle sound is characterised by an extremely quiet tick and a wonderfully resounding strike train, which can be triggered manually up to the fiftieth minute by pulling a silk string located on the exterior of the case, thus allowing the previous hour to repeat. The result is a unique sound experience courtesy of the chiming strike train, which can be silenced if preferred.
