Description: The function and design of the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer were to a large extent determined by the captains in the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service. This practical orientation resulted in an exceptionally robust watch able to meet any challenge. Since it was first developed, the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer has been in long-term operation on the 56 rescue cruisers of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service, with which we still constantly exchange ideas and experience.

Mühle Glashütte’s S.A.R. Rescue Timer Black / Strap (M1-41-03-KB) was originally released in 2002. This watch features a automatic movement beating at a frequency of 28800 bph (4 Hz) to provide a 38-hour power reserve when fully wound. The stainless steel, rubber case measures 42mm in diameter and roughly 13.5mm thick, with 20mm lug width. The round case is paired with a black color dial with stick-shaped hands, and a stick / dot hour markers and minute track, covered by a sapphire glass. Mühle Glashütte’s S.A.R. model M1-41-03-KB is water resistant up to 1000 meters (3281 ft). A solid caseback is over the back of the watch case. The S.A.R. M1-41-03-KB movement is a powered by caliber Mühle SW 200-1 made by Mühle Glashütte. The 26-jewel automatic movement is 25.6mm in diameter. Its balance wheel oscillates at 28800 semi-oscillations per hour or 4 Hz. This movement offers a 38-hour power reserve.
